Therapy for Therapists
No matter how deeply we believe in the process of therapy, seeking help as a helper can feel especially vulnerable. It can be hard to reconcile the support and guidance we so skillfully give others with the places we may feel stuck in ourselves. We may even feel ashamed that we still struggle with parts of ourselves rooted in the past or that we have old patterns that continue to play out. Yet we cannot “therapize” ourselves like we cannot tickle ourselves— we are just too close for it to have the same effect.
As a therapist, I view it as a deep honor to support other therapists in attending to the parts of themselves that often get set aside. I aim to create sessions that will value your professional experience while gently pushing you beyond what you cognitively know. I am committed to deeply respecting your confidentiality and ensuring that you feel safe to bring your full self to our work. Together we can make space for the multitude of emotions you carry, whether based in your personal life, your experience as a therapist, or the weight of living as an empath in our current world. Schedule a free consultation to explore whether I may be a fit for your needs.
